Yes. A ticket (General Admission, Paddock Party, Premium VIP Party or Grandstand seating) or a reservation credential for one of the dining areas is required to attend the Queen's Plate.
Do I need a ticket to attend the Canada Day celebration on July 1?
There is no admission charge for the Canada Day celebrations.
Where do I purchase tickets?
Tickets can be purchased through Ticketmaster or this website. Tickets can also be purchased in person at the New Player Zone at Woodbine Racetrack.
What access does a General Admission ticket provide on Queen's Plate Day?

Grandstand seating provides you with a guaranteed seat to watch Canada's best in horse racing. It allows you to move between your seat and the Hats & Horseshoes Party freely and includes access to the Brad Paisley concert on Friday June 29th.
Can you purchase tickets at the gate?
Limited tickets may be available. If there are tickets remaining on event day they may be purchased at the on-track box office.
Will the event be cancelled if there is rain?
No, the event will continue rain or shine.

Are children allowed to attend the Queen’s Plate?
Yes, children of all ages are welcome at the event. Those 6 years of age and under will receive free General Admission entry. If a grandstand seat is required a ticket must be purchased.
